Printed in black is the sacred Grouse and cornucopia of plenty. The Goddess Epona, Celtic Goddess of horses, wealth and abundance holds the cornucopia while riding a white mare whose footprints strike fruitfulness into the earth.
The cornucopia or horn of plenty she carries is a great horn or shell that is always full of nourishing food and drink and never empties.
This is a lovely representation of the knowledge that the Goddess bestows abundance as she wills, she cannot be threatened, tricked or robbed of her powers of abundance and healing. She and the cornucopia are one and the same.
This bookmark symbolises plenty, abundance, fertility, wealth and fruitfulness.
